Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy helps you get back to full strength and movement after an illness or injury. Physical Therapy assists you to rebuild strength and range of motion, and can help to manage pain caused by surgery, a sports injury, joint disease and chronic diseases like back pain and arthritis.

Physical Therapy uses a combination of techniques to relieve pain and boost coordination, strength, endurance, flexibility, and range of motion. Physical Therapists (PTs) often ask patients to use exercise equipment commonly seen in a gym as well as exercise balls and free weights. A Physical Therapist may also use heat or cold, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, massage, and water or whirlpool baths.
